Event Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all events – including AGMs, seminars and conferences – hosted by ACFE UK Ltd, trading as the ACFE UK Chapter. By registering to attend an event, you agree to the following:
Cancellations
Our cancellation policy is intended to keep costs low for attendees. Due to financial obligations incurred by ACFE UK Ltd you must cancel your registration prior to the start of the event.
Cancellations received less than 30 calendar days prior to an event start date are subject to a £50 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after the start date of the event .
Those who do not cancel and do not attend are responsible for the full registration fee.
Cancellation by ACFE
Should an event be cancelled or postponed by ACFE UK Ltd due to unforeseen circumstances, ACFE UK Ltd will process a full refund of registration fees within 30 days of such circumstances becoming known. ACFE UK Ltd will attempt to notify affected attendees by phone and email after it determines cancellation is necessary.
ACFE UK Ltd does not reimburse travel or accommodation costs incurred by attendees .
Transfers
Bookings can be transferred to another person. Please notify us in advance so that we can update our attendee list.
An additional fee may be applicable if the replacement person is not entitled to attend the event at the same price .
Photos and Videos
By registering for an ACFE UK Ltd event, you grant the ACFE UK Ltd or anyone authorised by the ACFE UK Ltd, the right to use or publish in print or electronic format, any photographs or video containing your image or likeness for any promotional purpose, without compensation.
Programme and Speakers
ACFE UK Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the programme, speakers and venue at any time as circumstances dictate. Every effort will be made to ensure a programme of equivalent standard and value should unavoidable changes occur.
Liability
ACFE UK Ltd does not accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at an ACFE UK Ltd event or in any material provided to attendees.
Claiming CPE
IN-PERSON (GROUP LIVE): To claim CPE credit, you will need to record and report a CPE PIN code for each session you attend. Certificates will be issued to attendees after the event once PIN codes have been checked and verified .
VIRTUAL (GROUP INTERNET BASED): To earn CPE credit, you must record and report a CPE PIN code for each session you attend, which will be shared XXXX during the presentation .
